When it comes to warehouse safety there are many benefits that are often overlooked. Safety procedures are frequently disregarded in a variety of workplaces due to insufficient time, inadequate resources or an opportunity to cut corners in an attempt to save money. However, when safety procedures are soundly implemented there are major benefits such as higher employee satisfaction as well as increased productivity. By minimizing the risk of injury, fewer workplace disruptions take place and absenteeism associated with injury is also reduced. Equipment downtime is another factor which can be avoided through the appropriate use of safety procedures.

Aware with Electrical instruments and chords to avoid any accident. No Loose wire connection in warehouse

Emergency Alarm must be available in warehouse for aware to all staff members in case of any emergency.

Follow proper space utilization of stock in warehouse. And Segregate the Finished goods with damaged good stock. And, place each material as per defined location.

Health, Safety, Security and the Environment.

  • The training is given in house in which proactively counter measures like vehicle check list, drug & alcohol check list session with staff & drivers are demonstrated. Mock drill & training on LSR (Life Saving Rule) & golden rule are also done.
  • Material Safety training is taken care for all staff & labour, drinking water, hygienic & housekeeping.

  • Fire fighting training, First Aid training training to CFA Manager which is passed on to all depot staff.
  • To clean with saw dust properly on the godown and for waste scrap material we have designated place for keeping the same.
  • 24 hour safety control through security guards. Besides we follow the process as per guidelines.
  • Through safety meetings which keep everybody updated in case of any change and by regular inspection of available equipment.
  • Incident has not happened but we still take proactive measures by performing mock drills to stay focused in case of any emergency
RT-HSSE (Road Transport-Human Safety Security and the Environment

  • Avoid driving without cleaner/helper.
  • Look and concentrate on link roads prior to turning on them.
  • Avoid long driving without resting. As per ALPL policy we must rest for 15 minutes after every 2-3 hrs of driving.
  • Shouldn’t drive vehicle during late night time to avoid mishappening in Transit.
  • Proper sleep during night time
  • Driver can't stop our vehicle without any safe place, or dhabha.
  • Part Load vehicle shoulde be check first before loading to avoid stock damages/leakages.
  • Avoid drinking/drugs during driving the vehicle.
  • Driver can’t use mobile during driving.
  • Wear Seat Belt while driving & must be follow as traffic rules.
  • Don’t cross the speed limit above 60 Km/Hr during loaded materials.
  • Don’t lift any unknown person during journey to avoid any mishappening.
  • Driver must be aware about Journey management plan for delivery of material.

We have to discussed with our drivers all above mentioned learning points in safety meeting. They assured that they had followed these ALPL rules in their life to avoid mishappening.
